Helping adolescents and young adults to achieve maturity while navigating a complexity of stressors and demands is the goal of our therapists. We have a broad and diverse experience of working with youth, both in schools and in community and treatment settings. We utilize best practices to assist youth and young adults to learn effective coping skills for distress, depression and anxiety, peer challenges, and school-related difficulties, such as OCD, ADHD, and social anxiety. Through active participation in determining goals for therapy, we employ evidence-based treatments, including Dialectical and Cognitive Behavior therapies (DBT/CBT), EMDR for reprocessing and resourcing trauma, and Mindfulness for focusing and de-escalating distress triggers. We also approach youth from a client-centered, humanistic stance, honoring their unique gifts and challenges, while providing them with opportunities to learn and develop skills for navigating the world more effectively.
Family dynamics can be complex and challenging. Our family counseling services are here to help you navigate through the challenges and build stronger relationships. We work with families of all sizes and backgrounds to help them communicate better, resolve conflicts, and build stronger bonds. Families provide the central support system for youth and young adults, and family therapy can build on those relationships to enable young adults to work through difficulties of functioning while strengthening their support systems.
As adolescents and young adults strive towards maturity and self-sustainability, they are confronted with having to make plans for careers, higher education, and mentoring/work opportunities. Our career counseling services are here to help young adults explore their options, build a plan, and achieve their goals. By assessing the individual strengths, interests, and needs of our young clients, we strive to support them in affirming their value, achieving their worth, and finding meaningful and satisfying careers and work relationships.
Group therapy can be a powerful way to connect with others who are going through similar challenges. Our group therapy sessions provide a safe and supportive environment where young adults can share their experiences and learn from their peers. We offer a variety of group therapy services to meet your needs.
We understand that life can be busy and it's not always easy to make it to in-person therapy sessions. That's why we offer teletherapy services that allow you to connect with our therapists from the comfort of your own home. Our teletherapy sessions are secure, private, and convenient.
