Intensives provide clients with an immersive, intensive, individually-focused program that allows space and time for reflection, learning, practice, and integration of concepts and experience. Intensives enable participants to accelerate their learning and healing processes within a safe and supportive environment.
Intensives are provided on an individual or conjoint (couples) format, and ideally consist of four days spread out over one month, in order to provide both the intensity of learning and experience, while offering space for practice and integration between intensive sessions. Each Intensive consists of three ninety-minute sessions within one day, with a 15-minute break between the first two sessions, and an hour lunch break between the second and final session. Each intensive day lasts roughly 6 hours.
Intensives are an accelerated way to delve deeply into an area of need or interest, ranging from focused trauma reprocessing work, skills development, to exploring personal and professional interests and areas of growth. Some topics which can be explored include: Mindfulness for stress reduction; coping skills for managing anxiety and depression symptoms; communication skills for couples and relationships; and individualized mental health support.
We understand that life can be busy and it's not always easy to make it to in-person therapy sessions. That's why we offer teletherapy services that allow you to connect with our therapists from the comfort of your own home. Our teletherapy sessions are secure, private, and convenient.
